Neighbors from Coker Hills, Coker Hills West, Estes Hills and Huntington-Sommerset met today November 10th with Chapel Hill’s planning director, Colleen Willger, and transportation planners Josh Mayo and Bergen Watterson. The Town recorded the session and we assume will make it available soon.
The big news is that the work on the Estes Connectivity project will not begin until the gas line can be shut off and moved – most likely at the end of April. The Town agreed to distribute a written update for neighbors that we will share as soon as it is available. During the year and a half of construction the town will only allow east bound traffic for a major segment of Estes Drive.
