A Third Webinar on How to Address the Housing Crisis

CHALT has organized three webinars to address the housing crisis.

In the first program we examined the national causes of the housing crisis with Peter Sabonis and the local causes with former Mayor Kevin Foy.  In the second we discussed the implications of Chapel Hill’s housing needs report and heard from members of communities who created successful solutions.

Our third webinar addresses the biggest hurdle of all – how to finance the development of affordable housing. Figuring out how to finance permanently affordable housing is a difficult task with many obstacles, yet many communities are doing it. CHALT has assembled several speakers who will discuss strategies that have worked.
