In January 2022, we asked subscribers to the Chapel Hill Matters newsletter to answer a 5-minute, confidential feedback survey. We wanted to know – what’s important to readers, and how are we doing? (Please note that newsletter subscribers ≠ CHALT members.)

While only a small percentage responded, we’re sharing the first results. Free-text questions (comment sections) are being processed and will be shared soon.

The multiple-choice items in our survey spanned three domains:

  1. Newsletter preferences, what CHALT should focus on, and activities we should offer
  2. Satisfaction with communication with Town government during COVID-19
  3. Concerns regarding development in Chapel Hill
